Bradley Harsch is a Partner in Spiro Harrison & Nelson’s Montclair office. He is a strategic and practical attorney with extensive experience in complex civil litigation, government inquiries, and internal corporate investigations. Brad practiced for more than 20 years at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, a leading New York law firm, and for six years at the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Jersey, where he served most recently as Chief of the Criminal Division. Brad brings a generalist approach to legal matters, identifying key issues quickly and navigating complex disputes with sound legal judgment and pragmatic business advice. His goal is always to help clients solve difficult problems and achieve optimal outcomes.

With Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Brad handled sophisticated matters for some of the world’s largest financial institutions, cryptocurrency companies, and Fortune 500 companies. These matters included fraud and securities litigation in federal court; arbitrations and mediations in commercial and contract disputes; criminal investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and state Attorneys General; and regulatory inquiries by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and Federal Reserve, among other agencies.

While serving with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, Brad prosecuted cases in the Government Fraud Unit, which focused on federal program fraud, and Special Prosecutions Division, which handled public corruption and high-profile, sensitive cases that required senior-level expertise and judgment. As Chief of the Criminal Division, Brad supervised more than 70 prosecutors arranged in eight units that handled a wide array of cases, including health-care fraud, insider trading, securities fraud, and other white-collar crimes.

In his spare time, Brad serves on the board of the Montclair Baseball Softball Club and is an avid reader of history and literature.
