Alexandria D. Martinez is a litigation associate at Spiro Harrison & Nelson. Alexandria’s practice is focused on high-stakes litigation matters on behalf of businesses and individuals in state and federal courts across the country, including antitrust, False Claims Act, and complex commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Spiro Harrison & Nelson, Alexandria clerked for the Honorable Stephen J. Taylor of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, where she conducted extensive research on various issues of criminal law. Alexandria is a graduate of Rutgers Law School. During her time at Rutgers, Alexandria served as an Editor-in-Chief of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, the first legal periodical in the United States to focus exclusively on the field of women’s rights law. Alexandria also interned for the New Jersey Attorneys General Office in their Financial Crimes Unit and the United States Postal Service in their Legal department.

- Successfully argued a motion to dismiss for failure to produce discovery in an action defending school’s contractor against claims of breach of contract and negligent supervision.
- Represented relators who alleged pharmaceutical company defrauded Medicare and Medicaid by training its sales representatives to engage in unethical behavior to boost sales of flagship drug.
- Counsel for technology sales representative in AAA arbitration regarding a dispute with former employer over wrongful termination after being denied commission on one of the computer software company’s largest deal.
- Counsel for former medical sales device representative prosecuting medical technology company and hospital for sexual harassment and negligent retention.
- Counsel for former employees alleging material handling equipment supplier improperly amended stock option incentive plan causing their equity in the company to become worthless.
- Counsel to bank in Department of Justice’s investigation of the bank’s lending practices.
- Successfully obtained dismissal of charges against pro bono client for violating final restraining order.
- Represent healthcare device company alleged to have wrongfully terminated employee based on an injury sustained while in the course of employment.
