Daniel S. Eckenrode is a Senior Associate in the firm’s trust and estates practice group. Daniel has extensive experience advising clients throughout the world on matters pertaining to U.S. income taxation, estate and gift taxation, foreign trust reporting, foreign investment reporting, and expatriation from the United States. Additionally, Daniel has experience filing Forms 1040, 706, 3520, 3520A, 8858, 5471, and 8621.

Prior to joining Spiro Harrison & Nelson, Daniel spent his entire career as a practicing attorney crafting his skills at a Big Four accounting firm and other smaller accounting firms. Additionally, Daniel served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jonathan A. Orsen, J.T.C. in Essex County. During law school, Daniel externed at the Villanova Tax Law Clinic, helped lead the Villanova University School of Law V.I.T.A. program, and was president of the Villanova University School of Law Tax Law Society.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys going to Yankees, Knicks, and Giants games.
