PARTNER Managing Partner, Montclair office

David is a founding member of Spiro Harrison & Nelson and Managing Partner of the firm’s Montclair office. David has spent his career representing corporate and individual clients in high-stakes litigation. His litigation practice focuses on complex business and financial-services litigation, including disputes concerning commercial breach of contract claims, fraud and business torts, shareholder derivative and securities litigation, antitrust and competition law, insurance, class actions, and M&A-related litigation. He actively practices in federal district and state courts across the country and has extensive appellate experience in both the New York and New Jersey State and federal court systems.

In this non-litigation work, David strives to provide clients with legal and strategic advice that enables them to meet their broader business objectives.

David supports numerous organizations in Montclair and invests considerable time to community related causes, including most recently having served as Board member, Secretary, and Financial Development Chair of the Montclair YMCA. Currently, David is member of the Board of Trustees for Partners for Health, a foundation dedicated to balancing food and health inequities for underserved populations in the community.
