Rich Gottuso has spent the majority of his career serving as General Counsel providing leadership to companies in the private and public sectors.

For over 20 years, Rich served as General Counsel for Hunter Douglas Inc., a multi-billion-dollar international consumer products manufacturer. Rich guided the company through high-stakes strategic and operational matters, including mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial contracts, real estate transactions, product marketing, brand protection and employment matters.

Rich also actively managed all significant litigation, served as a trusted advisor to executive management and headed all governmental relations and lobbying efforts.

Following his tenure at Hunter Douglas, Rich has served as a fractional General Counsel and strategic legal advisor to companies who value his practical and business-focused legal advice.

Prior to his in-house experience, Rich worked for two of New Jersey’s premier law firms.
