Spiro Harrison & Nelson LLC filed an antitrust class action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of consumer indirect purchasers of frozen french fries, hash browns, tater tots and other frozen potato products. The lawsuit alleges that frozen potato processors McCain, J.R. Simplot, Lamb Weston, and Cavendish Farms, along with Circana LLC colluded to fix prices of frozen potato products since as early as January 2021, causing purchasers to overpay.
